Preservation Austin and Save the Good Stuff are partnering to present a one-of-a-kind Summer Bazaar at the historic Baker School! Join us for a sweet summer fundraiser and don’t miss this opportunity to score some incredible second-hand finds. Admission to the bazaar is free and gorgeous items will be available at every price point.
Proceeds will benefit Preservation Austin. Purchases can be made using cash or card.
THERE ARE THREE WAYS YOU CAN SUPPORT PRESERVATION AUSTIN THROUGH THIS EVENT:
Donate your gently used treasures! We’re looking for decor, furniture, kitchenware, gardening accessories, etc. Please carefully review our DONATION GUIDELINES to learn more.
Donation drop-off dates: Sunday, July 28th (2pm – 5pm) and Thursday, August 1st (8am – 7pm) at the Baker School Cafetorium.
Volunteer! We’ll need help accepting and sorting donated items on July 28 and August 1-2. And then on the day of the bazaar, August 3, we’re looking for volunteers to assist with organization and check-out. Sign-up for a volunteer shift HERE.
Join us at the bazaar and buy beautiful vintage and second-hand objects! You can feel great about purchasing lovely things for your home and supporting PA at the same time.
BAKER SCHOOL
Enjoy a charming air-conditioned shopping experience in the Cafetorium at Hyde Park’s Baker School. Our Summer Bazaar is an amazing opportunity to sneak a peek inside the 1911 Neoclassical-style former elementary school which is usually closed to the public.
The Cafetorium entrance faces 39th Street at Baker School’s southwest corner. Parking is plentiful at the school and on surrounding streets.
