Volunteer Appreciation Happy Hour

You’re invited to Preservation Austin’s annual volunteer appreciation happy hour! If you've volunteered for PA in the past or are interested in volunteering with us in the future, we would be delighted to see you at this event. Join us at the McFarland-McBee House, where drinks and light snacks will be provided as we mingle with staff and fellow volunteers. We'll also be showing a sneak peek of the lovely houses that will be featured on our 2026 Homes Tour! The Homes Tour is our organization's marquee event and we truly couldn't do it without our incredible team of volunteers. We're so grateful for your support!
Feel free to drop in anytime during the happy hour and we’ll have remarks from staff on our many volunteering opportunities at 6:30pm. Also, everyone is encouraged to bring along a friend who might be interested in volunteering with us!

Parking
Our small parking lot includes one ADA parking space and a bike rack available for use. If the lot is full, street parking can typically be found along 38th and 39th Streets, please adhere to public right-of-way parking rules and be respectful of neighbors. Walking, biking, public transit, and ridesharing are always encouraged! The office is located directly along CapMetro bus routes 10 and 335 (and near routes 7, 322, and 345).
