Preservation Austin is proud to present our 2026 Homes Tour showcasing Austin’s remarkable heritage. This year’s homes embody diverse architectural eras and cultural histories, including two neighborhoods never before featured on the tour, and our first home from the 1970s! Ours is the only tour of its kind to connect Austinites to historic spaces and stunning design in such powerful and personal ways.
This citywide tour features ten historic homes, with five open on Saturday, April 18 and five open on Sunday, April 19. Tour hours are 10 AM - 5 PM each day.
The annual Homes Tour is Preservation Austin’s marquee event and most important fundraiser. All proceeds, including ticket sales and sponsorships, support our advocacy efforts and educational programming year-round. Join us to experience this incredible showcase of community heritage, style, and architecture!

About the Homes Tour
Preservation Austin debuted our spring Homes Tour in 1993 in celebration of our nonprofit's 40th birthday. This is our largest event of the year and champions diverse histories citywide to honor the contributions of all those who made Austin what it is today. Learn more about past Homes Tour here.
Terms + Conditions
The privately-owned historic homes featured during this year’s event were constructed before the adoption of modern building codes and do not meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Featured homes are presented as-is, and may include conditions such as steep steps, uneven floors, low-clearance doors, low handrails, and low guardrails. Tour attendees should understand that this is a self-guided tour, staffed by Preservation Austin volunteers, and that they are responsible for their own safety and conduct while touring these properties.
