November 2017 Demolition Notices

Preservation Austin receives monthly demolition notices from the City of Austin for buildings already designated historic at the local or national level, including in historic districts, or that are potentially historic because of their age. The Historic Landmark Commission reviews these cases at meetings generally held the fourth Monday of every month.

Concerned about any of the properties on this list? Attending the upcoming HLC meeting will give you the opportunity to speak against proposed demolitions. These cases will be reviewed on Monday, November 27 at City Hall Council Chambers (301 West 2nd Street) beginning at 6:00PM. See our How to Attend an HLC Meeting: Step By Step for the Layperson guide for more on how to advocate for buildings in your neighborhood.
