2016 Preservation Merit Award Recipients

Preservation Austin is thrilled to honor another outstanding slate of projects with our 56th Annual Preservation Merit Awards. Established in 1960, this juried program celebrates the hard work and visionary approaches of those preserving Austin’s unique architectural, cultural, and environmental heritage. It is the only such awards program for locals, by locals. This year’s nine recipients are among the best preservation projects from the past two years. It is an eclectic group, representing the many ways that Austinites have come together to breathe life into the places that define our city’s character. Congratulations to all those who made these incredible projects possible.

Recipients will be honored at our Preservation Merit Awards Celebration at the Driskill Hotel on Friday, October 28. Click HERE for individual tickets and sponsorship opportunities.
